Palestra: Full-wave modeling of high power microwave devices with beam field interactions

Fernando L. Teixeira received the B.S. and M.S. degrees from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro respectively, the Ph.D. degree from the University of Illinois, and served as a Post-Doctoral Associate with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

He joined the Ohio State University in 2000, where he is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Dr. Teixeira is a Fellow of the IEEE, a recipient of the Career Award from the National Science Foundation, and of the Outstanding Young Engineer Award from the IEEE Microwave Society (MTT-S). His current research interests include sensor physics and applied electromagnetics/optics.
